Girls Out Loud
Girls Out Loud is a social enterprise with one aim; to raise the aspirations of young girls between the ages of 13-18. We want to inspire young girls to take off the blinkers, set goals and think big!
We facilitate intervention programmes in schools. From a one day ‘Discovery Day’ to a 3 months ‘Stardom Journey’. Girls out Loud is also piloting a national mentor scheme called Big Sister. This provides teens with much needed support and guidance. Our aims are:
Keep girls out of the NEET (neither in education, employment or training) group.
Improve school performance and reduce teen pregnancies.
The emphasis of Girls Out Loud is to empower and enrich the lives of these girls . It is designed to help them make better life decisions and improve their self image. This should ultimately enable them to become role models for future generations.
