Life post Apprentice has been a whirlwind for Young and a year later she successfully manages her business and media career. Already running a thriving consultancy advising retailers and manufacturers, Claire has also launched a prestigious venue management company, specialising in weddings, called Elegant Venues (www.elegantvenues.co.uk).

Claire is a TV natural and continues to commentate on business matters for BBC, GMTV and Sky. Renowned as a chatterbox she particularly enjoys radio. Keen to share her views she contributes to a number of publications.

Having shot up the career ladder at a young age she has become a regular on the speaking circuit for her inspiring, motivating and down to earth ‘can do’ approach. She is passionate about developing young people and has been involved in many projects; National Apprentice Week, National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurs, BIZ and an ambassador for Make Your Mark campaign.

Claire is working in partnership with North East based Insp!re People Development (www.inspireconfidence.co.uk) the specialist provider of training and HR consultancy support to young graduates and fledgling businesses.
